Well, I may be back in the states, but I’m going to quilt this one with you! I only wish I were there!

I have a question about how to cut our fabric. If we cut strips the ‘with of fabric’ for each block will we be wasting fabric or will those leftovers get used in future blocks? The alternative, is to cut small sections for each block and thus have a ‘working’ edge on each fabric that is quite erratic.

    Thanks and Happy Quilting!
    Gwen

    Hi Gwen.
I have been cutting strips and have found I have been able to use them in other blocks.
I am using scarps. I did not use meters, tyrying to use my stash.

Glad to have you with us, Gwen!
Cut strips WOF and you will use them in other blocks.
    Cheers, Lyn
