I haven’t completed a quilt for a few years though I have everything one could ever want. I have chosen a Navy Blue, Teal, White and another colour yet to be decided.
I have haven’t seen the firs block yet. I have made the sample. I expect the block with arrive shortly.
Love your colors.
Block1 is now up and Block2 scheduled for 6 January.
I am not sure what is wrong with my instructions. block 1 said to cut piece B 4 3/4 x 1 5/16. I found the 5/16 difficult to cut but when I had sewn the pieces together the outside triangles ( dk green) measured 6 1/2 but the white triangles were off set and that would be a square only 5 1/2. Obviously the rectangle measurements are not correct. What should the measurement be and are there any other blocks with similar difficulties.
Our Mystery Quilt contains 52 blocks, one for each week of 2020.
Each block is pieced and contains 4 colors – a dark color, a light color, a medium color and a bright color.
There is a sample block that you can download to try before the class begins.
We are also looking to offer some other courses, if there is enough interest
