    Block 13 – those 16ths of an inch blew my mind, so I enlarged the outline – copied it at 110% and foundation pieced it. Apart from one little colour mistake, it went together well & it’s 6 1/2″ – so I’m happy.

    Took one look at Block 13 and thought “Foundation Piecing”!
    Mind you, a year or two ago I made a whole King size bed quilt (100″ square) using the snails trail block (the “Seaswept” pattern) but the blocks were bigger and the triangles not quite so fiddly.
    Can’t wait to get started!

New Online Class – Mystery Quilt

Our Mystery Quilt contains 52 blocks, one for each week of 2020.

Each block is pieced and contains 4 colors – a dark color, a light color, a medium color and a bright color.

There is a sample block that you can download to try before the class begins.

Other Possibilities for Online Classes

We are also looking to offer some other courses, if there is enough interest

  • Fabric2Dye4 – an introduction to dyeing fabric using Procion MX dyes
  • Surface Techniques – an introduction to a variety of surface techniques, including painting, stamping, foiling, stenciling, rubbing, screen printing
